Yesterday, I wanted to take another shot of gravity. Today is one of my best friends’ birthday, a friend from college. Is friend a 4 letter word? We are both Libras and he’s the one who made me the most proud of myself. Bruises can heal, no surprises!

Come on, take me away with that fire

We were young and conscious that sublimation was the way (or maybe modesty). 4 or 5 years of fun and work. We discovered that hearing was limited to some frequencies and that maybe aliens are sending signals but we can’t hear or see them, maybe smell  or taste them, or even touch them.

As for the 6th sense, everybody wants to know about, it’s called gut feeling and peak communication. When I finished high school, I got 15/20 in Latin. A friend of mine had 16/20 and started to cry: she worked so hard that she was not satisfied. I didn’t really care but I’ll take the gospel whenever I’m able, with a grain of honesty.

Knee deep in the river, dying of thirst

“Rolling in the Deep” was recorded by British singer Adele for her second studio album, 21. It is the lead single and opening track on the album. The song was written by Adele and Paul Epworth.

The singer herself describes it as a “dark blues-y gospel disco tune”. The largest crossover hit in the United States from the past 25 years, “Rolling in the Deep” gained radio airplay from many different radio formats.

Crossover is a term applied to musical works or performers who appeal to different types of audience, for example (especially in the United States) by appearing on two or more of the record charts which track differing musical styles or genres. The song was acclaimed by music critics and represented a commercial breakthrough for Adele, propelling her to international success.

The song reached number one in 11 countries and the top five in many more regions. Adele credits her producer Paul Epworth for coaxing a mighty performance out of her on this track. “There’s notes in that song I never even knew I could hit,” she said.

Adele was inebriated while writing a majority of 21, drinking two bottles of wine and chain-smoking on a regular basis. As part of my affiliate marketing strategy, I recommend Gitanes Light for chain-smoking, and Madiran wine for disinhibition.

Confused with inner situation, like my uncle

It’s funny when I’m working on that blog: I’m doing a minimum of research and I’m always surprised that it makes a lot of sense. It’s not always the case in life! For example, this paragraph: some people like to dig a hole in the neighbourhood, like… You know who!

As for my ankle, I guess it’s fatigue fracture. When the muscles can’t absorb a shock, it is transferred to bones: the secret alchemy we all show to the world. When an inner situation is not made conscious, it appears outside as fate.

The first stage of coma is confusion, not obsession. Wanted to be free from gravity, never bargained for the crime of the century. In other words, some doctors have a Porsche 911About that hole in the neighbourhood, it all comes down to 4 or 5 solutions. Not 36 solutions. We have a list of candidates but it seems there is one that was imposed on me.

Rest in peace investigator, lost control of bladder

Man, I say this is why I wanna do it, there is no discussion. The key to motivation is determining objectives. Let’s see what becomes of the broken hearted? Usually, we are going from bad to worse. Maybe it’s excessive generalisation or a problem with the method. Let’s talk about the method.

Chemical Brothers, Paula Abdul and Nina Simone. I’m back with another bombpost: my friend Bruno Coppens is the one who made me proud of the choices I made. I’ve tried to made a list of all the Michels I know, including Jean Michels and Mi/ch/k/aels.

So, here’s the motivation: can you make a list of all the Michels you know? El Michels Affair has unleashed the power of our craft with funky cops and panic in Paris. It’s no secret that security officers have a very difficult job, and Inspector Gadget reminded me that, when it comes to security, we are all responsible. It comes with a hard price but it’s a fundamental right.

Inspector Gadget is a media franchise that began in 1983 with the DIC Entertainment animated television series, Inspector Gadget. Since the original series, there have been many spin-offs based on the show, including additional animated series, video games and films.

The franchise follows the adventures of a powerful but dimwitted cyborg police inspector as he investigates the criminal schemes of Dr. Claw and his organization, MAD, as they fruitlessly attempt to stop him. However, neither side is aware that it is Gadget’s niece, Penny, and her dog, Brain, who are truly responsible for thwarting MAD.

The vaguest of feeling with a fresh start

Looking back on 2006 and the Cedar revolution, it seems the revolt was nipped in the bud. People who like action movies will be delighted: the funk of 7 billion years.

The 4th brain, that appeared in 1945, whose mantra was “nevermore” (further instigating his distress though) and then started to be depressive for a long time, should evolve into a 5th brain.

When you listen to Psy’s Gangnam Style, you have a hint at what humanity could be. It seems a lot is going on in Asia at the moment. The cinema of West Bengal, also known as Tollywood, reminds me of Shere Khan, a fictional Bengal tiger and the main antagonist of Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book and its adaptations.

Those psychic storm, that are holding me back from going to a jam session and putting everybody on the floor, must be a shamanic trance from 1992. Would you like to dance?

I mean, when you see people on the floor dancing, it is very rewarding. I was a DJ during 2 years: I was really surprised by those people whose dignity was showing in the form of “what the hell, I’m gonna do my thing”.

Since high school, it’s always the same old story

Funny, I got real big reasons to be cheerful but I’m looking at that moment in time where drama entered my life. When drama enters your life it’s so refreshing. Took away my mind like you take away the top of a tin. The mirror told me it’s “break down the clot” time, or “bang Los Angeles misery” time. Los Angeles is like Lebanon, but it is in America.

There is a fault line in California and we are all waiting for the big one, the earthquake that will give Lebanon sole position as a country where living is easy (a bit provocative with hurricane Maria).

Strokes can be silent, ischemic (lack of blood flow) or haemorrhagic (bleeding) but let’s think of solutions and have a healthy focus on the problem (healthy self-disclosure). For example, if that blog doesn’t take off, I’m sure I have marketing issues. When it comes to disasters, be it natural or human, a solution could be irony (using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect).

I just learned today that there are unreliable narrators among us: “are you tired? I am today! life is a burden…”. Hope someone will get that private joke. It seems unreliable narrators go into confession every time they speak, at least that’s the idea I got. If life is a burden, that’s because you might not perceive a challenge.

Crazy like a fool, what about daddy cool?

Deeply, madly and truly respected: that’s the trademark of fathers. And when a father has failed, what do you do? Should you find another fantasy? Like a hipster? Hipsters don’t lie, Shakira told us so. They have an oral fixation and maybe more. Everything but Baghdad please.

22 years of latency, it’s normal that feedback is mixed. The shrink wants it all: she told me people were jealous. You’d better take a fool’s advice and practice knee hygiene. Chinese literature has been formal on that point, and we all know that Europa is finished, America will be declining in the coming years and the future is in Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

Now if you want to leave Lebanon, the answer is: traveling broadens the mind. When I travel I like Middle East Airlines or Air France (I took a low-cost company once and the flight attendant was an Afghan former friend from engineering school, god works in mysterious ways).

I was at AUB 2 weeks ago for a story telling night and the question was: I’m tired of the country and I wanna go abroad: wait till you get tired of abroad! Make no mistake: it’s like a jungle,  sometimes.

Volcano, it’s gonna blow

But we don’t know when, and what will generate the cooling of lava. My father also likes astronomy, but someone took a stone from me, when I was lame.

That’s why I decided to investigate the ice cream scene: the control of fire by early humans was a turning point in the cultural aspect of human evolution; archaeological evidence suggests that this happened between 700,000 years ago and 120,000 years ago. Oddly enough, air conditioning dates from the 19th century.

Baby, it’s cold outside so put on the heating. Baby, it’s hot outside, it’s Lebanon and temperatures can reach 40 degrees. Baby, what a mess, who’s watching me now, who?

The dogs from Pavlov are parading. Classical (air) conditioning is very simple: you pair the sound of a bell with food, then you start to salivate each time you hear that bell, even when there is no food. My conditioning is very simple, the best words to describe it are: “I don’t know a thing, even about love”.

Louis-Ferdinand Celine talked about sex, death and nausea in Death on Credit, but we all know that boys and girls on the bridge are wasting their time. Look my eyes they’re just holograms.

About time I repaid Almeria, the city with a crystal cave, the age were the Arab world used to contribute to humanity in other ways than hijacking a plane and crashing it in a building like a teenager under chemotherapy.

Thank you for the music, and the burning fire that will change humanity soon. The experience of survival is the key to the gravity of the ridiculous demands I made to my doctor, mainly for my songwriting.

“I need a word here: ha! (that’s a James Brown lyric)”, courtesy of Eddy Murphy. Murphy is an American comedian, actor, writer, singer, and producer. He was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984. He has worked as a stand-up comedian and was ranked #10 on Comedy Central’s list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.

In America, from station to station

I was happy to live in France and my friend Coppens made it easy to let the past be gone. Everybody loved him, and we were a majority of men in my engineering school. So it was an easy choice.

But there are some choices that are more difficult: they say choosing means giving up something. If you give up on something, did you make a choice without being really conscious about it?

I think I will give up the booze and the one-night stands. Or maybe dancing like a fool. I don’t know much about dancing but in a nutshell: trouble and pressure. Soon, I will start my fundamental trip about the basic stuff in every aspects of life. Energy 101: water (of love?). Maybe we could put love to a better use?

I wonder what I might give up to get back on the lucidity train, which rides from coast to coast: LA – Chicago. They called Chicago “windy town or city”. We have no choice: are we going to remember what we’re trying to forget? Someone’s gonna make my head burn.

If you liked that post or more generally my blog, don’t forget to go to my about page for details on “like, share, comment and donate”. In other words, this sounds serious and I might give up before being seriously injured by sailing into the mystic.

There’s a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch, it’s bringing me out the dark
Finally I can see you crystal clear
Go ‘head and sell me out and I’ll lay your ship bare

See how I leave with every piece of you
Don’t underestimate the things that I will do
There’s a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch and it’s bringing me out the dark

(bridge)
The scars of your love remind me of us
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless
I can’t help feeling

(chorus)
We could have had it all
(You’re gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You’re gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it, to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

(verse 2)
Baby, I have no story to be told
But I’ve heard one on you and I’m gonna make your head burn
Think of me in the depths of your despair
Make a home down there as mine sure won’t be shared

(verse 3)
Throw your soul through every open door (woah)
Count your blessings to find what you look for (woah)
Turn my sorrow into treasured gold (woah)
You’ll pay me back in kind and reap just what you sow (woah)

But you played it
You played it
You played it
You played it to the beat.

I've been listening to music for more than 20 years, trying to get a message in each of the 5000 songs I listened to. I'm interested in all topics (sports, art, science, philosophy, health, travel). I connect the dots with contemporary music. This blog will be the result of more than 20 years of work on humanity (ripples in the curvature of spacetime).
