Don’t you love that blog madly? Don’t you wanna be a daddy? My sole purpose now is to make a living with that blog and think about marriage by 2020. I’ve spent too much time on the inside out. Love, if you’re there, come save us. We can hang while you’re around, but we will die if you’re not there. The key to motivation is setting goals and determining objectives. What if you fail to reach your goals? Treachery and treason, there’s always an excuse for it. A holistic approach, characterised by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease, might do the trick. It seems people who worked in high pressure environment become intolerant to exercise. This is bold as love: that might explain a lot of things. But first, let’s check out a song.

Water of love in the afternoon. Getting some restorative sleep becomes a real challenge. They say a change is as good as a rest. It’s time to get a break from that intense effort!

Please Mr Postman, the Song

“Private Investigations” is a song by the British rock band Dire Straits from their album Love over Gold. It reached number 2 in the United Kingdom (despite its length), and is one of their biggest chart successes in the UK. The track has appeared on two compilation albums. Love over Gold is the fourth studio album by the British rock band Dire Straits released on 20 September 1982 by Vertigo Records internationally and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. The album produced two singles and “Private Investigations” is one of them. The song begins with a sinister, deep-pitched synthesizer orchestration, leading into a slow piano progression accompanying a classical guitar, followed by several spoken verses. After the verses, the song opens up into a slow, bass-driven beat, with strident electric guitar chords at the end, before the gradual diminuendo featuring extended interplay between Mark Knopfler’s acoustic guitar and marimba played by Mike Mainieri. In Michael Oldfield’s illustrated history of the band to date – published in 1984 – Knopfler said the song was sparked off by something he’d read about Philip Marlowe, adding “You hear different interpretations of it, but to me it’s deliberately movie”.

This song by Dire Straits was inspired by noir movies and literature that developed after WW2. The goal was to denounce the cultural customs at that time. Despite the song length, it was successful in the charts. Beautiful to play on classical guitar. Themes include gaming, private and public life, criminology, pain and pleasure.

Philip Marlowe was the private detective created by the American novelist Raymond Chandler. The Marlowe novels could have been tailor made for film noir, a style of cinema that evolved in the United States after the Second World War, low budget gangster films and such made in black and white and portraying the underside of the American dream. Marlowe found his way onto both the big screen and TV. “Private Investigations” captures the genre more than any other song, including contemporary songs. If it had been written thirty years earlier it would almost certainly have won an Oscar for a film noir soundtrack. Mark Knopfler said this about the song: “It’s just about the Private Investigations… “What have you got at the end of the day” – Nothing more than you started out with…” This song was also modified by Mark Knopfler into a film score for the Bill Forsyth movie Comfort and Joy in 1984, where you can hear the song broken up into portions and used for certain scenes. The riff from the song was used on a BT advert in 1994.

Back to Bedlam, aka Almeria

Labels. Like being a valley girl: there is no cure for that kind of society. Even though justice and modesty is a nice solution, the mirror can be deforming and sell you something you don’t need.

What is life except a fight for justice and the future? Once I had a life of an oriental Christian: I was tortured and persecuted and didn’t have any care. My friends and I were bickering about stupid things: sex, drugs and everything but rock & roll. We are valley girls and there ain’t no cure. My friends felt it was their appointed duty to help me. So close, no matter how far. One day, I’ll fly away because the eagle will learn to fly. 22 years is a long time and I forgot my crime: ripples in the curvature of spacetime (sounds so factual). The thing is I found a code to stop rumination and intense emotions. And that code was very clear: the curvature of spacetime. Hence, France and Paris are saved for a little while. But I think I will try 300 days of sun a year, before it’s too late.

Imagination working overtime, watch out for the burnout and missed opportunities. Don’t forget to regulate like Warren G and Nate Dogg: no rumination and intense emotions (easier said than done).

Yesterday, I met a private investigator. She was young and we started chatting. Treachery and treason, there’s always an excuse for it. I decided to warn her because I think we are all a bit investigators. You will catch malaria (a mosquito-borne infectious disease affecting humans and other animals caused by parasitic protozoans) 10 years from now. When you do, make sure to stay safe and think about justice and the future. In biology, parasitism is a non-mutual relationship between species, where one species, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the other, the host. Traditionally parasite primarily meant an organism visible to the naked eye. You got my compromise working overtime. That might be why I started to become intolerant to efforts. A part of the brain monitors intense efforts, constantly wondering what are the pros and cons. From an intimate point of view, zero benefits. But can a life be reduced to intimacy? My dignity is looking for it and let’s make sure the tunnel vision is under control.

In a crowd of low-class people, you act real cool with me. I didn’t ask for that poison: I was born in the land of the sun, and tall green grass. Face recognition is the part of the brain that doesn’t stop from growing with ageing.

My answer to all that “me, me, me” stuff (the 1970s were dubbed the “me decade”): without being a narcissistic pervert, you have to point out what is positive about that experience. I’m determined that it will be a chance to grow. I read that the only part of the brain that doesn’t stop from growing during life is face recognition. In other words, something related with identity. Who were those men that managed to make an angel out of me? I don’t want to brag but complication and aggravation is coming. The souvenir of a knee problem that disturbing is driving me to the new frontier: a mission of mercy. Instead of being a jerk, maybe you could start being grateful. I would like to thank all the people that helped me setup that blog because, by 2020, it will be read by 200,000 people (as if I was a member of Queen and playing in Wembley, England).

With a crocodile smile, it’s improbable to buy something from that person. My former company gave me a cancer (perhaps), that even my mama thinks my mind is gone.

When it comes to the mystic, you wouldn’t look for it without already having found it. Hark now hear the sailor’s cry: smell the sea and feel the sky. I don’t need no doctor, because all he wants is my money. It’s a business and their only goal is profit. That’s why I’d recommend to everyone who would like to be in good shape to read stuff on health. According to oriental medicine, there is a principle called the “metal principle”. See how I’m tripping out, because I can’t decide if I should stay or should I go. The metal principle is related to decision making. To make a decision, information is critical: justice and security (room for error). Honesty will allow me to be more coherent and it will stop making me fragile. From Gagarin’s point of view, the Earth is not the centre of the universe. Feel free to shake at the knees because, for some people, they are the centre of the universe. Of course, I have an ego that is difficult to surrender but being free with the tempo is not debatable.

Silliest moves are those inside. The superego has 4 basic injonctions: submission, perfection, enjoyment and bipolarity. Post-Freudian will say: watch out for journalists, the sensation injunction.

The superego has got me on my knees and some doctors related the superego to the body, aka dignity. I think it’s normal to have a monologue but watch out what information you are working with. When the load is too heavy, muscles transfer the effort to bones (the secret alchemy of mankind). This is called troubleshooting. And if I’m having problems with humanity, I know it must be a crime by our crazy old neighbours: Israel and Syria. Their love is so obvious that their is absolutely no seduction. Crazy old neighbour means “lazy bold labour”. The Labour Party is a centre-left political party in the United Kingdom. It has been described as a broad church, bringing together an alliance of social-democratic, socialist and trade-unionist outlooks.

The party’s platform emphasises greater state intervention, social justice and strengthening workers’ rights. Justice is a subject that will make this blog take off. We were wrong: love doesn’t matter! What’s important is justice! We’ll keep on trying and tread that fine line between “everything but Baghdad” and “cold Turkey”. “Cold turkey” describes the abrupt cessation of a substance dependence and the resulting unpleasant experience, as opposed to gradually easing the process through reduction over time or by using replacement medication. Sudden withdrawal from drugs can be extremely dangerous, leading to potentially fatal seizures. Going cold turkey can cause life-threatening delirium tremens, rendering this an inappropriate method.

When there’s a wall, there’s a way. Willpower might just be strange games and funky things. This story is easy to see: it started in Beirut, Lebanon in 1980. Do you believe in reincarnation?

The willpower paradox is the idea that people may do things better by focusing less directly on doing them, implying that the direct exertion of volition may not always be the most powerful way to accomplish a goal. Research suggests that intrapersonal communication (talking to oneself) and maintaining a questioning mind are more likely to bring change. I stumbled upon an emotion wheel that explained what is a secondary emotion, a mix of different simple emotions. For example, according to this wheel, annoyance can transform into rage when it becomes intense. A mix of annoyance and boredom becomes contempt; annoyance and interest becomes aggressiveness. Another clue about wellness is a 2-axis graph based on skills and challenge. A skilled individual will experience relaxation, control and flow; whereas someone with low skills will experience apathy, worry and anxiety. Maybe the challenge is a wonderful one after all: healing from a crime against humanity. Dementia and ripples in the curvature of spacetime are taking over. The bad thing about seeing a doctor is that you feel like a teenager: “doctor, is it normal?” Who needs validation when you are 37 years old?

If you liked that post or more generally my blog, don’t forget to go to my about page for details on “like, share, comment and donate”. In other words, this sounds serious and black is a colour like white, purple and pink. Can’t help myself, all I see is red!

It’s a mystery to me
The game commences
For the usual fee
Plus expenses

Confidential information
It’s in a diary
This is my investigation
It’s not a public inquiry

I go checking out the reports
Digging up the dirt
You get to meet all sorts
In this line of work

Treachery and treason
There’s always an excuse for it
And when I find the reason
I still can’t get used to it

And what have you got at the end of the day?
What have you got to take away?
A bottle of whiskey and a new set of lies
Blinds on the window and a pain behind the eyes

Scarred for life
No compensation
Private investigations

I've been listening to music for more than 20 years, trying to get a message in each of the 5000 songs I listened to. I'm interested in all topics (sports, art, science, philosophy, health, travel). I connect the dots with contemporary music. This blog will be the result of more than 20 years of work on humanity (ripples in the curvature of spacetime).
