One can meditate on several topics, including allopathic medicine. But let’s be honest and try to figure out why we are feeling this way. I was born in Lebanon in 1980. The Cold War was raging at the time. A war by old people, for old people but without old people. When you look back on World War 2 and its consequences, one thing I recall: making the same mistakes again. Like a mad man laughing at the rain, people had to deal with leaders that drove them to an awful place and, for a long time, the journey was full of air bump. The pilot was drunk with revenge, and his copilot didn’t know a thing about airplanes. Coffee is all over the floor. How can we save our children from that serious mistake? Why try to save them? (knowing that it will excite those WW2 veteran and push them into dragging us in that mess)

World War 2 was a mess with bad mistakes (maybe like blaming the Jews for the defeat of Germany in World War 1, or justifying the Holocaust with the Armenian genocide). If you want to have mitigating circumstances, you could say they only were teenagers playing war games. Everybody agreed that chemical weapons had to be banned.

Please Mr Postman, the Song

Antônio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim (1927 – 1994), also known as Tom Jobim, was a Brazilian composer, pianist, songwriter, arranger and singer. Widely considered as one of the great exponents of Brazilian music. Jobim is the artist who internationalised bossa nova and, with the help of important American artists, merged it with jazz to standardise in the 1960s a new sound whose popular success was very remarkable. He was a primary force behind the creation of the bossa nova style, and his songs have been performed by many singers and instrumentalists within Brazil and internationally. In 1965 his album Getz/Gilberto was the first jazz album to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. It also won for Best Jazz Instrumental Album – Individual or Group and for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. The album’s single “Garota de Ipanema” (“The Girl from Ipanema”), one of the most recorded songs of all time, won the Record of the Year.

“Meditation” has become a standard of jazz. Written by Tom Jobim, he and Joao Gilberto more or less invented bossa nova together. Astrud Gilberto famously teamed up with Stan Getz after working with Gilberto on bossa nova. Themes include loneliness, fantasy, time and ways to remain calm.

Jobim has left a large number of songs that are now included in jazz and pop standard repertoires. First released on Gilberto and Jobim (1960) Antonio Carlos Jobim teamed up early in his career with a childhood friend and nightclub pianist, Newton Mendonca, and lyricist Norman Gimbel for the gracefully beautiful “Meditacao (Meditation).” Joao Gilberto and Jobim more or less invented bossa nova together. An amalgam of the Brazilian samba and American (particularly West Coast) jazz influences, bossa nova became extremely popular in the United States after Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd unleashed their 1962 version of Jobim’s “Desafinado.” Pop vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra started to take on Jobim’s material, in the process making many of his song’s standards, alternative repertoire to the Broadway show tunes and Tin Pan Alley fare that had made up most of the Great American Songbook.

Astrud Gilberto (born 1940) is a Brazilian samba and bossa nova singer. She is best known for her performance of the song “The Girl from Ipanema”. was born Astrud Evangelina Weinert, the daughter of a Brazilian mother and a German father, in the state of Bahia, Brazil. She was raised in Rio de Janeiro. She married João Gilberto in 1959 and emigrated to the United States in 1963, residing in the U.S. from that time. Astrud and João divorced in the mid-1960s and she began a relationship with her musical partner, American jazz saxophone player Stan Getz. Beginning as a singer of bossa nova and American jazz standards, Gilberto started to record her own compositions in the 1970s. She has recorded songs in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, and Japanese.

Back to Bedlam, aka Almeria

When it comes to killing his crazy old neighbour, man has a fantastic imagination. And his compromise is working overtime. History has proven that, with so much amateurism, population has serious reasons for concern. I was classically trained to shut the fuck up. The goal was not to be or not to be. The goal was to teach me to fuck up. A learning procedure that was inspired by Nobel Prize Pavlov. And I guess you could dignify that! After all, even in democratic countries and republics, we all have people in charge to hypnotise us. If you dig a little deeper, surprises you will find, like a chemotherapy instead of mustard gas. It’s a general adaptation syndrome. There are 3 stages: shock, alarm and exhaustion.

The Cold War and WW2 was a problem of amateurism. It’s not normal when all your economy, industry and people should feel concerned by a war effort. The problem is espionage. People started to behave like children and turn their crazy old neighbour in. A scale of 1 to 3: intense emotions should remain in the habitable zone. Feelings of disgust, sadness and anger are too serious to let them drive life and humanity. You have to choose your battles, someone once said to me. At the moment, I want to tell the truth or start somewhere before I’m old and wise. The truth is that those people made mistakes and they make us pay for their stupid information. I’m going to the time to human rights watch: it’s the darkest hour, of the darkest night. Of course, I could wake up and tell the world about my dream or nightmare.

If you want to get over that 20th century bitch, one should try to reflect on faith about science and progress. The same ones blaming the West for their misery are the ones who erected Ivan Pavlov as their God and chemical weapons as a solution to all troubles. Is it East versus West, or man against man?

WW2 will go down in history as an amateur war full of insults. The first step toward a victory is passing the ball above the net. How can you win, when you’re so scared to lose? What will happen when we discover the crimes of those people? In a nutshell, the only thing they know about is sabotage. They don’t know a thing about another subject. They could talk about sabotage for years and years. The basis of sabotage is the level of difficulty. France has been a country where it was so easy to ruin everything, that it made possible the worse. I discovered that a chemical weapon (a chemotherapy recycled as a drug for acne) has been dragging me down to hell. The mirror is awful: here in Paris, they don’t give a fuck about oriental Christians. Except as a mean toward an end. You heard me: in Paris, they don’t give a fuck about us.

When I arrived in Paris, they asked me to send rice to Somalia. I would if I could (I was 10 years old at the time). If someone can prevent wars that started because of amateurism, then the world will be a better place and we will go to space. Let’s make the most of this losing streak. You can feel the Cold War when your intimate life has reduced to tears. The sad part about is that I stumble upon some people in my life that I want to forget. The truth about WW2 is that they don’t know how to get down. An emotion like joy has been completely erased from humanity and the rest has taken over. The code is very clear: a narcissistic perversion. Behind that technical word, there are allusions. I am an allusion, you also are; the Earth and the universe also.

Everybody met aliens around age 14. Some a bit before, others a bit after. What are we going to do when the aliens realise they have more power than us? Or their civilisation is more advanced than ours. Do we have a recent victory to hold on to?

I met the aliens in 1994, when I was 14, like many of us did. Meditation can be defined as a practice where an individual focuses his or her mind on a particular object, thought or activity to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. Meditation may be used to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. It may be done while sitting, repeating a mantra, and closing the eyes in a quiet environment. Meditation has been practiced since antiquity in numerous religious traditions and beliefs. Since the 19th century, it has spread from its Asian origins to Western cultures where it is commonly practiced in private and business life. The Cold War was a bad case of amateurism and anal fixation. We’ve got a new mantra then. By the way, the anal stage is the second stage in Sigmund Freud’s theory of psychosexual development, lasting from age 18 months to three years. According to Freud, the anus is the primary erogenous zone and pleasure is derived from controlling bladder and bowel movement. The major conflict issue during this stage is toilet training. A fixation at this stage can result in a personality that is too rigid or one that is too disordered.

I’d like to talk about autoimmune disorders, which has sky-rocketed since 30 years. Almost 1 in 6 Americans live with that kind of illness. It’s the kind of illness that develops over time. But what people fail to tell the public, it’s that an autoimmune disorder is a clever mix of cancer, allergy and inflammation. By deduction, it’s not difficult to see that you suffer from a cancer (perhaps). As such, it should be treated like a cancer. Now, I want to quote an article I stumbled upon today: “The last doctor I saw suggested that my symptoms were in my head. That’s when I knew I was on my own.” So, if the disease is like a cancer, then what is a cancer?

You don’t have a clue why you’re not in the pink. Is intimate life important or very important? What if a sphere of your life starts to contaminate every other sphere (like occupational life or family life)? Meeting aliens at age 8 is a serious problem and you should be very careful with the response.

Cancer is the oldest disease known to man since antiquity. In fact, it’s the only disease that didn’t change its name in 2000 years. A cancer is just a vague mess, usually unconscious. You don’t feel any pain and suddenly you go mushroom (like an atomic bomb). I read that people who worked in high pressure jobs might suffer from exercise intolerance. I guess, with ageing, you might also develop that kind of trouble (from a probability perspective). My advice is that, if it’s a cancer (perhaps), then it is a cancer; what I mean is that it’s a serious disease, full of allusions. One solution would be justice and modesty (from afar). It seems children have an inherent sense of justice with that system. Every problem has a solution and, if yours you cannot find, you should talk about it with your guts. Who killed the Colonel Mustard? To be honest, you don’t have a clue. Is your intimate life 33% of your life or just 14%? What if a sphere of your life starts contaminating every other sphere?

If you liked that post or more generally my blog, don’t forget to go to my about page  for details on “like, share, comment and donate”. In other words, this sounds serious and determining if an intimate life is important should be a no brainer.

In my loneliness
When you’re gone and I’m all by myself
And I need your caress
I just think of you
And the thought of you holding me near
Makes my loneliness soon disappear

Though you’re far away
I have only to close my eyes
And you are back to stay
I just close my eyes
And the sadness that missing you brings
Soon is gone and this heart of mine sings

Yes I love you so
And that for me is all I need to know

I will wait for you
Til the sun falls from out of the sky
For what else can I do
I will wait for you meditating
How sweet life will be
When you come back to me

I've been listening to music for more than 20 years, trying to get a message in each of the 5000 songs I listened to. I'm interested in all topics (sports, art, science, philosophy, health, travel). I connect the dots with contemporary music. This blog will be the result of more than 20 years of work on humanity (ripples in the curvature of spacetime).
