A serious music insight makes me want to analyse adolescence. There’s a lot of things to say: one man’s loss being another man’s gain. Sounds funny!

Adolescence might be key for a lot of people. This is a stage of life where, if you get a strong impression, your personality might be frozen.

In the long run, I don’t think anybody can fake this. Adolescence might be severe and cruel but how come some say life is always this way? This is one of the remarks Leon the Professional makes to Natalie Portman in a film.

Enter cost killer, aka Carlos Ghosn or Santana. From our point of view, we cry or we shout. But from another point of view, it’s just a smile. As long as it doesn’t become a sarcastic and sadistic laugh like in the song “Thriller” by Michael Jackson.

Big Teasers, We’re Halfway There

Maybe we’ve got a good reason for taking the easy way out. After all, teasing is cool but what if you don’t deliver? Aren’t you happy when you order sushi or pizzas and then the delivery person knocks on your door?

Someone insulted the delivery person. We know it because we got a message saying: “I spit on your pizza”. As long as you don’t spit on my grave, then everything’s fine.

Maybe this is serious then. Who can tell what magic spells will be doing for us? We give everything to some people and then we learn we can’t see or breathe. But Mother Nature is vigilant and she reminds us that, in the garden of Eden, there was everything we needed.

Enter disrupters. People taking us halfway there but never delivering. Why should we pay them then?

Cool Kids Never Have The Time

Have you ever been excluded from a group? Sounds funny but sometimes we get a feeling some group of people wants to tell us where it’s at.

Last time I was drunk, I had a real funky time. Of course, the day after I rested but I didn’t wonder what my friends would think. After all, we’re all in this together and we have that dream to live in perfect harmony.

Now I want to join the Navy because I wanna go sailing. Like my Phoenician ancestors. Europe is named in homage to a Phoenician princess, Europa. In Greek mythology, she was the mother of King Minos of Crete and was of high lineage.

Is this why European women exclude a lot of man from their address book? I’ve seen a lot of man suffering from conventions they didn’t understand. But women in Europe are beautiful.

What’s So Civil About War?

Bullying is a hard experience. Some say Donald Trump is a bully but he might just be a psychopath who has to run a country with 300 million people. Seems like I’m defending him…

Hurricane Maria is a natural disaster. Why should bullying not be a human disaster? And if your heart plays a new refrain and loves Mary Jane, don’t blame nature or humanity. You can blame it on the dominant idea: us and them.

When you end up a victim of bullying, you start to wonder why. But maybe China can help us here: the question must be how! They seem to have an invisible touch like when you disguise something in a failure or mishap.

How is the answer. Suddenly, bullying has stopped and maybe you’ll miss being a star, even though it was unclear if it was beneficial to society.

I guess we know the score then: the question is how.

Only Love You When They Play

The word is on the street that rumors are important. Something will be remembered about it, even though they are part of a stratagem maybe.

Medium is the message. It’s not what you do, but how you do it. They were rumors once that we ended up on Earth because we were punished for eating an apple. And now, the doctors can’t keep away.

I think there’s no mystery here. 13,8 billion years ago there was something. That could be debatable but something happened: the funk of 75 years. A fundamental law of the universe is derivation.

Maybe your dreamy soul sails for a far, far away heaven. As if you were frightened of being right. Our cousins on other planets have also communication breakdowns.

When they join us, they will ask how advanced we are on the mystery of the safe distance.

Gangnam Style, Humanity United In Dancing

The importance of rivalry and vengeance. Every gang knows about it. Keeping up with the Jones sometimes looks like a stupid fight. When I was a child, I was honored with a new computer and my friends went nuts.

And then the gang took over. Careful what group you choose or choose you. If you end up ruined and the demand becomes more and more exaggerated, it’s time to say goodbye.

You’re the greatest dancer. For me, dancing resembles a headache or a heartache. It should last around 4 minutes. But some last for a long time. That’s where the gang should make an intervention.

You are part of a community that tries to minimize bad tendencies and maximize good behaviors. Otherwise, one could wonder what kind of group would do an assassination like the Sharon Tate one (Roman Polanski’s ex-wife).

Who Can It Be Knockin’ At The Door?

Do you like it here with your childhood friends? What if this debilitating disease about handling peer pressure and besting your nearest neighbor was an identity crisis?

Who we are, everybody knows it. My name is Nicolas Sursock and the government and the industry can see it on my card. What about my shadow self? Lately, I was making a catalog of the shadows in me and I came up with 4 identities.

It sounded serious to me because then, they will start again with their bipolarity and schizophrenia delirium. What’s the matter with having the subconscious for everybody to see? I’m a man and thank God everyone can see it.

I will tidy up a bit that shadow self. After all, my sunny side is unique. But with the shadows it’s always the same: it’s a killer. I wonder if I gave chills with that paragraph…

Must Be Fake, Lips Start To Shake

With adolescence, having several points of view is interesting. Teasing, bullying, exclusion, rumors, and gangs were the main subject of that post. Of course, identity is a wonderful topic.

In a next post, I could try to talk about excess, challenges, problems with authority and mood swings. They say that Casanova and Romeo never meet anybody.

So maybe if you have troubles finding yourself, you are fighting a bad obsession (that sometimes can pay). In terms of profitability, you should aim for a 5:1 ratio.

Now I’m sick of being an intellectual. I know it’s dark outside but I found a code that was supposed to free us. When the cosmos will wake up, I hope my enemies will stand back and say: “boy, how can you be so wrong!”

Maybe I’ll tell myself: “boy, how could I be so wrong?” After all, I can make mistakes. It’s time for a margin call!

Her name is Noelle
I have a dream about her
She rings my bell
I got gym class in half an hour
Oh, how she rocks
In Keds and tube socks
But she doesn’t know who I am
And she doesn’t give a damn about me

Cause I’m just a teenage dirtbag baby
Yeah, I’m just a teenage dirtbag baby
Listen to Iron Maiden baby with me
Ooohoo Hoo Hooooooo

Her boyfriend’s a dick
He brings a gun to school
And he’d simply kick
My ass if he knew the truth
He lives on my block
And he drives an IROC
But he doesn’t know who I am
And he doesn’t give a damn about me

Cause I’m just a teenage dirtbag baby
Yeah, I’m just a teenage dirtbag baby
Listen to Iron Maiden baby with me
Ooohoo Hoo Hooooooo

Oh yeah, dirtbag
No, she doesn’t know what she’s missing
Oh yeah, dirtbag
No, she doesn’t know what she’s missing

Man I feel like mould
It’s prom night and I am lonely
Lo and behold
She’s walking over to me
This must be fake
My lip starts to shake
How does she know who I am?
And why does she give a damn about me?

She says, “I’ve got two tickets to Iron Maiden Baby
Come with me Friday, don’t say maybe
I’m just a teenage dirtbag baby like you”
Ooohoo Hoo Hooooooo

Oh yeah, dirtbag
No, she doesn’t know what she’s missing
Oh yeah, dirtbag
No, she doesn’t know what she’s missing

I've been listening to music for more than 20 years, trying to get a message in each of the 5000 songs I listened to. I'm interested in all topics (sports, art, science, philosophy, health, travel). I connect the dots with contemporary music. This blog will be the result of more than 20 years of work on humanity (ripples in the curvature of spacetime).
