As in all things, you have to have a way to evaluate a situation. Based on my long experience as a human being, I came up today with a simple way to be happy: there’s money and there’s life. There’s numbers and there’s the show. There’s simplicity and there’s complexity.

Some people keep talking about the score like Robert Cray. It’s true in sports the score is easy to digest: Los Angeles leads 62 / 58 at the half. I guess journalists and commentators can make stories sometimes to have a score a little more elaborate.

I do think someone must be watching us. I don’t know if it’s God, the cosmos, the Earth or maybe your banker, but someone must be watching us. Maybe it’s ourselves!

Voltaire already used to talk about war as a kind of show. Only God and his point of view could really relate. And that might be why we witnessed so many anti-war songs and books in the recent centuries.

By the way, you can find the affiliate link to the song and the album at the end of the post. I have added the lyrics for those curious of the song. Can you find a mantra in one of the lyric?

There must be 2 important things in life: numbers and the show. But let’s talk about love for a minute!

What Kind Of Love Can Be Heavy?

Sometimes love can be heavy. It’s when you’ve been waiting for a long time and suddenly you wonder what were the circumstances that made it possible. After all, you can’t find true love on every corner of the street. If you can, then congratulations: you reached a point where you can be a little more relaxed.

Anyway love is about recognising you had some luck and your discipline was good enough to see something in others surrounding. Yes love might just be about talent scouting.

Sometimes something about somebody can make you sweat. Like if that player was a bit rusty or his/her moves lacked conviction or confidence. Love must be pure or try to be the purest possible, as if you shot a basketball and it was nothing but net (meaning the ball didn’t touch the metal ring).

The kind of love that’s heavy is the one beating around the bush. And now let’s talk about what’s going on behind the curtain.

How To Have A Robust Model For Success.

Lately I witnessed on my blog statistics that were encouraging. 3000 visitors a month and promotion that were going well. But something was a bit strange in the stats of my blog: Facebook was visiting my blog and the web address was like: review.intern.facebook*/endless.

Yes the web address finished with the word “endless” as if Facebook couldn’t decide if my blog was good for them or not. Needless to say I kept paying to advertise to bring traffic but suddenly there was zero traffic from Facebook. One cannot succeed in life with teenagers laughing at your work behind the curtain.

They say laughing can be a sign of lucidity but now I’m sick of joking. It’s so dark outside and I don’t care about my pride anymore. Marilyn Monroe used to say “it’s better to be ridiculous than boring” but the dose makes the poison. Yesterday I met an old friend of my parents and the first thing he told me was “that I was a bit overweight”.

Now you know what’s going on behind the curtain: people are thinking about your looks.  And what could be the next step to handle that illumination?

How To Make Someone Look Ugly.

The swastika (as a character 卐 or 卍) is a geometrical figure and an ancient religious icon in the cultures of Eurasia, used as a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions. In the Western world, it was a symbol of auspiciousness and good luck until the 1930s, when it became a feature of Nazi symbolism as an emblem of Aryan race identity and, as a result, was stigmatised by association with ideas of racism and antisemitism.

One can wonder why Adolf Hitler didn’t invent his own sign of greatness. It’s not difficult to come up with a decent logo for your enterprise. Hire a competent designer and tell him/her what you want. It’s fitting that if I turn the initials of that blog into a logo I will end up with “SS”.

According to Rage Against The Machine, Hitler might have been a victim of the pressure surrounding him in his close circle. In poker, they talk about a horror when someone didn’t play well and still wins. The main thing here is thinking about the long term since a poker tournament can sometimes last several days.

Now I do think happiness is a clever mix of a good show and numbers that give another point of view. Maybe happiness is just an interesting point of view then?

Sometimes something about somebody can make you sweat. Like if that player was a bit rusty or his/her moves lacked conviction or confidence. Love must be pure or try to be the purest possible, as if you shot a basketball and it was nothing but net (meaning the ball didn’t touch the metal ring).
